A Look Ahead at Blue Mounds

Here's a shot of a climber sleeping on one of the longer routes at Blue Mounds. Lisa, bring a bivy ledge so you can do this too.

Here's another shot high up a route at Blue Mounds. Looks tall, doesn't it?

I've heard that the 8th pitch on the prairie wall can get a bit sketchy and is prone to avalanche. I've also been told to watch out for the Abominable Snowman that lives on the summit, as well as mountain goats that will knock a climber off of the face at lower altitudes. Do you think we should hire one of the local sherpa's that live in Luverne?

To enhance the amenities of any climbing destination, I would add a biffy, before I would add a bivy.
