Eating Twinkies To Lose Weight

t1larg.twinkie.professor.jpg

I like Little Debbies myself, so here’s a junk food diet that might work for me:

For 10 weeks, Mark Haub, a professor of human nutrition at Kansas State University, ate one of these sugary cakelets every three hours, instead of meals. To add variety in his steady stream of Hostess and Little Debbie snacks, Haub munched on Doritos chips, sugary cereals and Oreos, too. His premise:’That in weight loss, pure calorie counting is what matters most -- not the nutritional value of the food.’

The premise held up: On his ‘convenience store diet,’ he shed 27 pounds in two months.”

He did also eat vegetables – canned green beans. Yum, yum. Read the whole article to see how he improved his BMI, increased his good cholesterol and decreased his bad cholesterol.

I bet if I lose 10 pounds, I can climb a grade harder. And eating snack foods sounds kinda yummy.

And you people thought i was joking about my winter training program.
but you left out the smoking cigarettes part of the diet (smoking does ease hunger pains)

Smoking also calms the smoker. Which is just what you need when you're all jacked up on sugar.
