Because the rescuers had trouble finding the area of a climbing accident, the Red River Gorge Climbers’ Coalition is putting in these tubes with emergency information. This includes:
- Written directions to all the parking lots in the PMRP
- A map with all the major crags and parking lots of the PMRP labeled and arrows showing the most reasonable approach to the parking lots and meeting place for the ambulance.
- GPS coordinates of all the major crags at the PMRP
- The copies of the guide book to provide additional information about the area
