Kopka River

I am going on a week-long canoe trip to the Kopka River in Ontario. It’s about 3 hours east and north of Thunder Bay and it flows into Lake Nipigon. There are 4 of us with two canoes. We fly into the park with our canoes from the little town of Armstrong. Then we will paddle out to the highway.

Near the end of our trip, there are a series of waterfalls. Here’s a video of some canoeists descending the last waterfall.
