oh my gosh! i had no idea that "pick it up, put it in the bag, bump bump" was actually FROM something, let alone disney! i just thought my older, tone-deaf brother made it up so he could legitimize "bumping" me when we had to clean. being child number 4 of 6, that particular cartoon was no longer aired on network television by the time i was old enough to be hip-checked at every cleaning opportunity. my sister (second in line) informed me that it was one of the few cartoons they were allowed to watch growing up (that part didn't change much by my time). she instantly recognized the voices when i started playing it and filled me in!
i feel like a genealogist who has just discovered another link in their family history.
