A trip report about bouldering at Red Rocks over the New Year with great photos of the rocks. (You have to scroll down a little way to find the Vegas part of their trip.) Also, some advice about where to stay, and where not to stay:
“DO NOT STAY AT CIRCUS CIRCUS. We made that mistake one night because we wanted to be closer to the strip but it is GHETTO, smells like cigarettes, has paper thin walls, not that cheap, and there are crime warning signs everywhere. Never again.”
(I noticed that Circus Circus has really cheap rooms. TripAdvisor ranks it 143 out of 281. BTW, the hotel I stayed at is ranked 214 out of 281. I thought it was just fine.)
