Backpacker Magazine is sponsoring climbs of “North America’s most sought after peaks” to raise funds for the nonprofit Big City Mountaineers.
So, for example, you can climb Devils Tower in August with a pledge of $4,000. And you get booty worth $300. There are even women-specific climbs so you won’t be bothered by the pesky men.
