We left Base Camp about 10 this morning. Our porters dropped our stuff about an hour later at Camp One just below "Jenna's Chimney" at Barn Bluff. Which Sunbeam led for an on-sight. (N.B. There was no streaming beta, Mike.) A1 on-sighted "Jenna's Face" - which sounds like a bad movie title - and then on-sighted B.F. Bugs. (I just figured out what the "B.F." stands for.)
Then Sunbeam had her first 10.a on-sight on "Pleasant Summer Absence." (Mike, see above.) Which is a huge deal because she has exactly 10 fingers. See her photo below.
R.R.W. (Ron of Red Wing) and John of Miesville showed up and climbed those and then moved over to "Perfect Crimb" with us. A1 and Lisa went off and climbed "Barn Burner" and "Left Lane." Which left me stuck to try "Technical Difficulties" rated 5.TUFF. (I rate it Max Eff.) What a struggle I had on that one. It starts really easy and then you step off the ground. Past the hard part, it's still hard. But maybe next time we'll do it clean.

How about a discussion of streaming beta? I think the comments need to be helpful to fall into this catagory. So, "Hey are you going to camp there?" and "Get out of the bushes" and "You got it" Do not count. Ok, I admit these comments may be helpful but they are just not beta.
Mike, I have invented a new term, "Screaming Beta." Especially at Willow where everyone's deaf.
