Not My Red Wing
I was watching a news show about a magazine article (which is weird enough right there). They were talking about Red Wing and how historic and how scenic and what lovely shops and baked goods and pottery and antique shopping. WHAT? Not my Red Wing! My Red Wing has a Quick Trip and a bluff with impossible climbs and that's it. Well, except for a McD's that sells dog burgers. I Love that Town!

Baked Goods are you looking for? Take Old West Main Street and there's a strip mall next to the Pottery Place. Go to Smokey Joes and get an Icelandic almond roll...the absolute best!! Carmel nut rolls are great also. Then buy a loaf of their Norweigen Health bread to take home.
Hey Nora, I didn't mean to dis your town. I was poking fun at the fact the we blow into town, climb and leave. Kinda like when I go to Montana. I feel like we drive stright to the first mountain run up it, come down and drive home. It's funny to me!
Caramel rolls sound good and tasty but nothing beats a hot dog on top of a hamburger with peanut butter & mayo at King's in Miesville.
