The is a rumor about climbing in the Brickyards on Friday about 1o:00, leave a comment if you would like to come. If you need some boots, REI is selling off their rentals for $99. They are nice, Mel and I did the manly thing and geared up. Here is another source that Mel found online. Fun little website, I hadn't visited before.

Count me in. I have an extra pair of boots and crampons if anyone wants to borrow them. I wear around size 8 mens...9 1/2 womens.
One other place to look for boots and crampons is craigslist mpls. There are some as low as $15 or $20. search the word climbing in the sporting section and you'll find them.
If you know anyone who lives in Salt Lake City or Denver, that's the best place to buy used gear on craigslist. There are more ice climbers in those cities than anywhere.
