Apologies for the delay--I've had a severe lack of internet access in the past few days! These are from last week Wednesday and Thursday at the Vermillion River in Hastings. Red Wing

After I bailed on the Jump Start lead (thanks for being gracious in your description there, Richard), Lisa gave it a shot on toprope. She found the "jump" part to be vertically challenging. After giving her a boost (so she could feel out the hold), Richard took a minute to show her how to do it.

Here's her response:

She got it!!! --only to find that Richard needed a hand, too.


On our hike to the top of the bluff, Lisa and I found lots of crocuses blooming.
