There’s a new zip line operation in West Virginny that’s almost a mile long. It takes 3 hours to do the complete tour.
“That's because none of those guys could fly. Well, neither can I, but I'm enjoying the next best thing: I'm 85 feet above the forest floor, whipping along at 30 mph on a zipline that is carrying me and my pounding heart straight at a landing platform wrapped around Zeus's massive trunk. Verdant crowns of hemlock and white oak rush beneath my feet; I see the backs of songbirds and the glint of sunlight on gin-clear Mill Creek. And here comes Zeus, branches outstretched like welcoming arms. Move over, flying squirrels. I'm coming in”.
