Two of the climbers in the photo above became very wealthy businessmen who have bought millions of acres of land in Patagonia to preserve. One of them started North Face, then sold that company and founded Espirit. The other one founded Patagonia and still owns it. So remember, the more stuff you buy, the more you help others preserve land for future generations.
