There wasn’t much ice there on Saturday. Lots of people – 100? – and lots of climbs set up. In the area that’s in the photo to the left, I counted 10 ropes.
We did a lot of gentle ice picking because the ice was so thin and one route of dry tooling. Which is odd. But fun.
We even went over to the Jazz wall and did a sport lead climb. Which was tough in double mountaineering boots. And gloves. But more fun almost as much fun as shopping at Amazon.
